Last night I checked out the most anticipated film for 2011’The Girl WithThe Dragon tattoo’ Premiere. Directed by David Flincher this American adapted Swedish Film had me at the end of my seat! Iv’e never read the book before so I didn’t know what to expect! But with the Swedish backdrop and a crazy plot which included twisted characters,serial killers, Nazi’s and Swedish History, abuse against women (cringe) and a touch of social networking and technology I have to Co-Sign that this film should be up for an Oscar nomination!

The movie is pretty dark and twisted and has a heavy sexual content which at times I felt was a bit tooooo graphic!!! So I would advise adults only!!

However, it’s a story of a troubled “Girl with a Dragon Tattoo” that is searching through her ‘way’ in life after a troubled childhood ( which were not really told all the details). And somehow by the end of the film my feelings changed and I no longer looked at her as a broken young woman but instead as a heroine in her own right!!
