SNOOP LION!!!

After a trip to Jamaica in January Rapper Snoop Dogg said he had a ‘spiritual awakening’ and was inspired to become a Rastafarian. Snoop has now changed his name to ‘SNOOP LION’!  I couldn’t help but notice the change @ Coachella 2012! Did you??

He told Huffington Post:

“I want to bury Snoop Dogg, and become Snoop Lion. I didn’t know that until I went to the temple, where the High Priest asked me what my name was, and I said, ‘Snoop Dogg.’ And he looked me in my eyes and said, ‘No more. You are the light; you are the lion.’ From that moment on, it’s like I had started to understand why I was there.”

Snoop plans on releasing music his kids can listen to! His new Reggae album ‘Reincarnated’ will be released this fall. And a new docu of his journey @ this years Toronto International Film Festival.

Image

Good news for P.Diddy’s 18 year old son Justin combs who has been a recipient of a $54,000 UCLA Football scholarship! It is one of the 285 scholarships that are given every year. Some are not to thrilled about the scholarship since Diddy is worth an estimated $475 million!!

However, Justin recently tweeted that he has worked hard for it and deserves the scholarship. And I kinda agree!

Congrats Justin!
